Still Walking! Miles 1162-1200

We were pleasantly surprised to find this hut just off of the trail.  We have made an offer to trade for it and we are just waiting on the return call from the realtor.
This is a Sierra Club ski hut and was built in honor of Peter Grubb whom we found to be one of the world's most interesting men.  While in the hut we read some of the letters that this "man" had written his grandfather about his travels and adventures.  He died on a European bike tour in Capri, Italy at the age of 18......... in 1937.  We can't wait for a movie to come out about this guy.  He was blazing trails not just hiking them.

Almost Awesome frolicking through a field of wildflowers, seconds away from filling the mountainside with glorious song........ but first there were sighs of displeasure because we has already eaten our second breakfast and were still hungry.

So, we are a little confused about the counting the rings on a tree concept.

This was a pretty nice spot I guess.

This.......

is the way...........

that we like to spend our days.
